A sewer camera can document visible conditions inside an accessible line and help locate a concern. It does not, by itself, repair a damaged pipe or replace the judgment of a properly licensed plumbing contractor where plumbing work is required.
The outside cleanout is the service boundary
AWDR advertises drain cleaning, jetting, camera inspection, and locating when service can be performed through an accessible cleanout outside the building structure. Interior plumbing alterations or repairs are outside this service boundary.
What the camera may document
- Obstructions or accumulated material visible from the camera path.
- Offsets, roots, breaks, or deformation that can be seen from inside the line.
- Approximate line direction and issue location when locating conditions allow.
- Areas where the camera cannot pass and further evaluation is needed.
What happens when a repair is needed
If the findings indicate plumbing repair, replacement, or work outside AWDR's advertised scope, the customer can be referred to an appropriately licensed local plumbing company. The plumber evaluates and quotes that work directly.
Ask for a quoted scope
